Mile #3038 - Yellowstone

We went to Yellowstone National Park two days ago and all I can say is wow...

Everything was so beautiful and it really put the ground we walk and drive on everyday into perspective for me and reminded me that it isn't just sand and grass but an ever changing and growing being. A lot of the things we saw yesterday looked prehistoric!

Our campsite for the 3 nights
First ones on the tour bus headed to Yellowstone!
One of the many springs in Yellowstone

Bubbling mud pots releasing sulfur and carbon dioxide
Madison River
Waiting for Old Faithful!
Yay! Old Faithful!
His beard isnt quite there....yet ;)
Bison!
Artist's Point
The trees were so beautiful!
Old Faithful Ale!
I kept the red theme going with a strawberry daiquiri! Also, I had a guy come up to me and say, "Go LSU!!" (Because of my hat) I didn't have the heart to tell him he had the wrong sport...
Ava met a mother cream long haired weenie! Her name was Bailey
Tim had a bison steak! (He let me have the grapes :) )
Shhhh....
